The clergy wives, along with seminarian & postulant wives, will have a luncheon and there will also be a Deaconess Ministry Informational Luncheon. Those intending to attend these events will so indicate during the registration process.

Solemn Evensong with a Carolina Barbecue Dinner will be held at All Saints Church on Wednesday evening. The Synod Eucharist also will be held at All Saints Church on Thursday afternoon. All Saints Church is 6 miles from the hotel. Most other events occur at the hotel.

The proposed schedule for synod may be accessed for viewing and/or download. Click this button.

Hotel reservation deadline is July 3, 2020. The synod group rate for the hotel is $139.00/night for either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. Hotel reservations may be made online. When making your reservations via the online link, be certain to choose your arrival and departure dates. The reservation system automatically populates those fields with the entire week of synod. The hotel is also offering the group rate on the weekends before and after synod should one decide to make a vacation out of the trip to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Click this button to reserve your room.

Telephone reservations are not currently available due to the COVID-19 crisis. You may also contact the Hilton directly at 828-209-2700. The group name is “All Saints Anglican Church.” The group code is “ASAC.”

The hotel is located in a planned urban development known as Biltmore Park. There are many stores, restaurants, and entertainment facilities within walking distance. The hotel also provides shuttle service to the Asheville Airport.

Synod registration cost is $110.00 this year. This is the cost for all participants of synod: delegates, alternates, and observers. This includes the cost for all materials, the synod banquet, barbecue dinner, Thursday breakfast, and transportation to All Saints Church. The registration deadline is July 3, 2020. A late fee will apply after that date. Register by clicking on this button.

The Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is the preferred airport for those traveling by air. It is but 3 miles from the hotel. Most carriers serve this airport. Asheville is a minor hub for Allegiant Airlines and prices for their flights, if one has access to them, are significantly below other carriers. The Hilton Hotel provides shuttle service from this airport.

Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) is the primary alternative airport to reach the Asheville area. It is in upper South Carolina and is 70 miles (1 hr. drive) from the hotel. Most carriers serve this airport as well. Fares to this airport many times are the least expensive coming into the area. Of course, flying in here will necessitate renting a vehicle.

Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) is the closest major airport. It is 175 miles (2 hr. drive) from the hotel. American Airlines is the primary carrier but most airlines are represented here.
