Conference Registration & Hotel Reservation deadline has been extended to January 13.

The Annual Winter Conference for the Anglican Province of America will be held February 5-7, 2019 in Dunwoody, Georgia. Dunwoody is in the Atlanta metropolitan area. St. Barnabas Church is the host parish and the venue for all events. It is located at 4795 N Peachtree Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338. The hotel for the conference is the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody, 2.5 miles from the church.

This year’s conference will be in a retreat format, focusing on prayer and the spiritual life, using the book The Cure of Souls: A Manual for Clergy by William Webb. All participants are encouraged to read the book prior to arriving. It is available at online retailers.

The conference is open to all APA clergy, deaconesses, their spouses, and other interested parties. An invitation is extended to the clergy and members of our inter-communion partners of the Anglican Catholic Church, the Anglican Church in America, and the Diocese of the Holy Cross.

Registration is accomplished online. There is no charge for the conference but making a registration is necessary for planning purposes.

Hotel Reservations
The hotel for the conference is the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody, 4386 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, Georgia, 30341. The group $119.00/night. Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport is the closest airport, approximately 26 miles from the hotel. Participants are responsible for their own transportation needs from the airport and during the conference.

The conference, as usual, includes Diocese of the Eastern U.S. committee meetings before and after the conference itself. The conference proper begins Wednesday, February 5, with Evensong at 6:00 p.m. The conference concludes with a “Travelers’ Mass” on Friday, February 7, at 7:30 a.m. See the schedule below for all events.
