This past All Hallows Eve, October 31, 2019, Saint Paul’s Church, Melbourne, Florida, hosted over two hundred people from the community for a festival. Food, games, bounce houses, candy, hay rides, music and raffles were all included. This event created an occasion for the community to meet the parish and resulted in fresh opportunities to draw new families into parish life.

Many Saint Paul’s parishioners donated time, money, and effort to make this event a massive success, but special recognition needs to be given to Holy Trinity Church, Fernandina Beach, Florida. Fr. Brad Cunningham, the rector of that parish, brought fifteen high school student volunteers from the parish school, Lindisfarne Hall, to help run the games and dress up as their favorite saints. Five others from that parish also came along.

The members of St. Paul’s Church are already looking forward to next year’s celebration!
