The 2019 Synod of the Diocese of the Eastern United States (DEUS) will be held July 15-19, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. St. Alban’s Cathedral, 3348 West SR 426, Oviedo, FL 32765 is the host parish. The hotel venue is the Holiday Inn Orlando East – UCF Area, 1724 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32826 .
This is the 52nd Synod of the Diocese and marks the beginning of a time of transition for the DEUS, as a Bishop Coadjutor will be elected. The various committees, boards and agencies of the DEUS will meet before the official opening of the synod, which is 1:00 p.m. on July 17. The synod will close at 12:00 p.m. on July 19.
The clergy wives, along with seminarian & postulant wives, will have a luncheon and there will also be a Deaconess Ministry Informational Luncheon. You register for these two events when you register for synod.
The Synod Eucharist and barbecue dinner will be held at St. Alban’s Cathedral on Thursday evening. All other events occur at the hotel.

Synod registration cost is $130.00 this year. This is the cost for all delegates, alternates, and observers. This includes the cost for the synod banquet, barbecue dinner, Thursday lunch, and breakfast throughout your stay. Register by clicking on this button.
