On March 11, 2018, the Fourth Sunday in Lent, the Most Rev. Walter H. Grundorf, D.D., Bishop of the Eastern United States, celebrated the burning of the mortgage of All Saints Parish, Wilmington, North Carolina on the occasion of his Episcopal visit to the parish. The mortgage burning ceremony was held in the Memorial Garden and was the initial celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of All Saints. The first worship service for the congregation was celebrated on 25 March, 1968, when the church was known as St. Philip’s Anglican Orthodox Church. Several services and festivities are being planned for various times throughout the remainder of this 50th anniversary year.

The Bishop also celebrated and preached at the Holy Communion and received two new members into the church, Donna Ball and Margaret Hobgood.
