A note for all clergy attending Synod from the Provincial Office:
Only clergy who are participating in the services as assigned need to bring vestments.  The rest of clergy can just wear their clerics.

I have spoken again with the two transportation services referred to us by the Conference Coordinator at Our Lady of the Snows. The first is H & G (618) 274-4427. H & G recommends those needing transport from the Airport call prior to your flight for pick up at the Airport. They cannot assure pick up from the Metro Link, but suggest pick up at the Airport is the best option. The cost is $45. for the first person, $35. for the second. The second transport service is now Tranzlinx (previously Alton Limo) (618) 462-3313. They do not pick up from the Metro Link and likewise recommend calling prior to your flight to arrange for pick up from the airport. Their cost is $53. for the first person with adjustments made for more than one person down to $15. per person. Tranzlinx also is willing for you to call ahead and they will attempt to coordinate groups going to Our Lady of the Snows.

The bottom line is that the gas situation has had an impact on just about everything! So for those of you driving or renting a car, no problem. However, for those of you needing transport from the Airport, I recommend you coordinate a ride with someone who has a vehicle or call one of the transport services above to make arrangements for pick up at the airport and return. If all else fails, call me and I will do my best to find a ride for you from the Metro Link! (my phone # can be obtained by contacting  the St. Albans Cathedral Office)
