Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We greet you in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ. St. Paul's Anglican Church is pleased and excited to welcome all of you to the 2008 Synod of the Diocese of the Eastern United States to be held here in Annapolis, Maryland from June 2 through June 6.
June is summer time here in the mid Atlantic so be sure to bring your shorts, T-shirts, and bathing suits. We will be staying in the Doubletree Hotel which offers comfortable accommodations, meeting rooms, and banquet facilities under one roof. It is also close to shopping and restaurants. Downtown waterfront Annapolis is a short shuttle bus ride away. In addition the Doubletree Hotel has the Ports of Call restaurant, a Starbucks Coffee Shop, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness room.
Synod is a time of renewal and refreshment in our fellowship with one another in our Lord Jesus Christ while we conduct the business of our Diocese. Encourage as many people as you know to come join us as we gather together for the Glory of Almighty God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!
